Rehoboth Springs Canada Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of all scholarship applicants. By submitting an application for the Rehoboth Springs Scholarship, you agree to the following:

  1. Collection of Personal Information
    • We collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, educational institution, proof of enrollment, and submitted essay materials for the purposes of evaluating scholarship applications.
    • Your personal information will only be used for the administration of the scholarship program.
  2. Storage and Protection of Data
    • All applicant data will be securely stored and accessed only by authorized personnel of Rehoboth Springs Canada Inc.
    • We implement security measures to ensure the confidentiality and protection of your data against unauthorized access or misuse.
  3. Sharing of Information
    • Personal information will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties, except as required by law or with your consent if chosen as a scholarship recipient.
  4. Retention and Deletion
    • Information provided by unsuccessful applicants will be securely deleted within 12 months of the application deadline.
    • Information provided by successful applicants will be retained for record-keeping purposes as required by applicable regulations.
  5. Public Acknowledgment
    • By applying, you agree to have your name, photograph, and essay summary publicly shared on our website and other promotional platforms if selected as a scholarship recipient.

Disclosure

  1. Accuracy of Information
    • By submitting your application, you certify that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
    • Applications containing false, misleading, or incomplete information will be disqualified.
  2. Use of Essay Materials
    • Submitted essays may be used by Rehoboth Springs Canada Inc. for educational, promotional, or awareness purposes.
    • Applicants retain copyright over their submitted materials but grant the Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and publish the essay content in relation to the scholarship program.
  3. Recipient Responsibilities
    • Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain their enrollment status and academic progress.
    • Failure to meet eligibility requirements may result in the forfeiture of the award.

Award Rules

  1. Eligibility
    • Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria outlined in the scholarship requirements, including full-time enrollment at an accredited Canadian institution.
    • Applicants must have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of applying.
  2. Application Review Process
    • Applications will be evaluated by a committee of qualified judges based on the quality of the essay, demonstrated need, and alignment with the Foundation’s values.
    • Decisions made by the scholarship committee are final and not subject to appeal.
  3. Award Distribution
    • Scholarships will be awarded as a one-time payment of $1,000 to each recipient.
    • Funds will be transferred directly to the recipient’s educational institution or provided to the recipient in a manner agreed upon during the awarding process.
  4. Notification of Winners
    • Winners will be notified by email within three weeks of the application deadline.
    • If a winner cannot be reached within 10 business days, the award may be forfeited, and another applicant may be selected.
  5. Program Modifications
    • Rehoboth Springs Canada Inc. reserves the right to modify or cancel the scholarship program at any time.
    • Applicants will be notified of any significant changes to the program.
